What is this role about?
The Business Development Manager – Key Enterprise Accounts will lead the development and execution of strategies to grow and manage SEAOIL’s key enterprise accounts, including large corporations and strategic customers with significant commercial potential and complex business requirements. The role is responsible for strengthening executive-level customer relationships, driving account penetration and share-of-wallet growth, identifying opportunities for new products and services, managing strategic sales initiatives, and overseeing account requirements related to bulk supply, specialized fuels and lubricants, and other value-added solutions to achieve sustainable revenue and margin growth.
The role drives the company’s volume, margin, and profitability targets within key enterprise accounts by ensuring the team effectively manages strategic customer relationships, expands existing accounts, and identifies opportunities for increased product and service penetration. By delivering tailored fuel, lubricant, and value-added solutions and implementing strategic account growth initiatives, the role contributes to sustainable revenue growth, customer retention, increased share-of-wallet, and strengthens SEAOIL’s position as a trusted strategic partner to key enterprise customers.
What will YOU do?
Develop account management and business development strategies for all phases of the account lifecycle to accomplish the company's business objectives by:
1. Owning strategic accounts and ensuring client satisfaction.
2. Conducting executive meetings and business reviews.
3. Mentoring team members in account management and pipeline growth.
4. Tracking account performance and implementing corrective actions.
5. Identifying opportunities to expand products and services within assigned accounts.Identify opportunities for account growth, new products, and value-added solutions to expand the company's presence and share-of-wallet within key enterprise accounts. This would be done by developing and implementing account penetration strategies and collaborating with cross-functional groups to introduce new products and solutions to strategic customers.
Analyze account performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to maintain competitive advantage and maximize account potential. This would be done by staying attuned to customer and industry developments and conducting account analysis, competitor benchmarking, and sales forecasting.
Establish strong and sustainable customer relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in strategic accounts. This would be done by identifying key decision-makers, determining customer needs, providing tailored-fit solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Lead with the team in meeting strategic account and business development objectives by:
1. Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
2. Overseeing activities towards the attainment of account growth, penetration, and acquisition targets, including activities related to leads assessment and approval and supply agreement implementation.
3. Facilitating team development through coaching, mentoring, shadowing, and other learning interventions.Manage costs efficiently to optimize budget management and control expenses while achieving sales objectives and profitability targets. This would be done by:
1. Overseeing sales and business development budgets.
2. Monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.
3. Approving spending aligned with revenue and margin goals.
4. Identifying areas to reduce costs without impacting sales performance.Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
Graduate of any business /technical/engineering degree
Valid Driver's License (Manual Transmission)
At least 10 years of related experience, preferably Business Development from the Domestic Marine & Port Terminal Operations Logistics industry
At least 7-10 years of experience in a managerial/leadership capacity.
Adept in Sales, Business Analysis.
Willing to do field work, as needed.
