What is this role about?
The After-Sales Manager oversees after-sales operations, ensuring efficient servicing and parts availability while delivering excellent customer support.
The role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, retention, and repeat business, which are critical drivers of dealership profitability and brand reputation, especially in the EV market.
What will YOU do?
Build and lead the dealer after sales team to maintain brand standards and ensure the development of skilled personnel;
Coordinate with other dealer departments to implement BYD/MAPVI policies, standards, and management requirements;
Enforce daily compliance with BYD Service and Parts Operations Standards, ensuring consistent service quality and parts availability;
Manage parts ordering and inventory levels, maintaining mandated stock to support efficient service operations;
Monitor and track aftersales performance and operations, conducting audits and self-evaluations to drive continuous improvement;
Implement and support improvement initiatives such as the “Fix It Right the First Time” (F1) program to enhance service accuracy and customer satisfaction;
Develop and implement annual aftersales personnel training plans and prepare necessary equipment and personnel reserves;
Manage and follow up on major customer complaints and crisis incidents, ensuring timely resolution to protect customer satisfaction;
Formulate salary and incentive schemes for aftersales personnel, and conduct regular performance appraisals and job adjustments;
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to MAPVI, including submission of mandatory reports and documents to maintain compliance and transparency; and
Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
Graduate of a four-year course
With extensive experience in automotive aftersales (Service and Parts) operations
Strong skills in customer feedback analysis, excellent organizational management
Proficiency in Dealer Management Systems and office software
Willing to extend working hours, work on holidays, or weekends, as needed
Willing to do field work, as needed
Willing to travel domestically for deployment and other assignments
Willing to work a six-day shift (Mondays to Saturdays)
