What is this role about?
The Finance Officer is responsible for overseeing importation and cargo release activities for containerized cargoes, including coordination with suppliers, government agencies, shipping lines, brokers, and banking partners to ensure timely settlement, compliant documentation, and efficient trade execution. The role also serves as the document controller for Finance Operations, responsible for the proper management, monitoring, filing, and safekeeping of all trade and finance-related documents.
What will YOU do?
Process Containerized / LCL Importations to ensure operational efficiency, timely and compliant cargo release.
Facilitate BOC Import license to ensure timely renewal of BOC Import Accreditation
Process customer broker dealings to ensure accuracy of amount billed to the company and completeness of documents relevant for each shipment
Encode EPR/Vendbill to ensure timely accrual of costs relative to importations
Submit DOE reports to comply with the monthly reportorial requirement of DOE
Assist ANL audit by BOC to ensure completeness and readiness of importation documents for the period covered by the Audit
Consolidate VAT output requirement of ATAX to ensure the accuracy of captured amounts and completeness of supporting documents
Draft correspondence with government agencies in connection with importation processes
Act as Document Controller of Finance Operations
What will YOU need?
At least 2–4 years of experience in import documentation, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, finance operations, treasury, accounts payable, or banking-related roles
Experience handling import documentation, customs clearance, supplier payments, bank transactions, and financial documentation.
Exposure to international trade processes (e.g., import/export payments, foreign currency transactions, LC/TT) is an advantage
