What is this role about?
This role will will lead the the department in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to sell fuels and lubricants to accounts/customers with nationwide/national requirements coming from the power and large conglomerates sectors.
In addition, the role covers new product development and sales activities for CME, aviation, asphalt/bitumen, and other products outside the company's current portfolio. He/she shall also be in charge of the sales requirements related to toll blending, mega distributors, and special projects.
Furthermore, the role shall contribute to the achievement of the company's volume and margin objectives by ensuring that the team is able to effectively execute all programs and policies related to acquiring new accounts or growing existing accounts for both fuels and lubricants segments and to penetrating new markets through the introduction of new products.
What will YOU do?
Develop sales strategies and activities for all phases of the account management and business development cycles to accomplish the company's business objectives by:
Own strategic accounts and ensure client satisfaction.
Conduct executive meetings and business reviews.
Mentor team members in account management and pipeline growth.
Track account performance and implement corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to expand products and services.
Identify opportunities for new product development and accounts to expand the company's presence and product portfolio by developing and implementing strategies to penetrate new markets and collaborating with cross-functional groups to introduce new products to the market.
Analyze market trends and dynamics to maintain competitive advantage by staying attuned to industry developments and conducting market research, competitor benchmarking, and forecasting.
Establish strong and sustainable customer relationships with potential accounts by identifying decision-makers in the organization, determining customer needs, providing tailored-fit solutions, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Lead the team in meeting its objectives by:
Fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture
Overseeing activities towards the attainment of account acquisition targets, including activities related to leads assessment and approval and supply agreement implementation
Facilitating team development through coaching, mentoring, shadowing, and other learning interventions
Manage costs efficiently to optimize budget management and control expenses while achieving sales objectives and profitability targets
Oversee sales and business development budgets
Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective resource allocation
Approve spending aligned with revenue and margin goals
Identify areas to reduce costs without impacting sales performance
Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
Any Business / Technical / Engineering degree
Driver's License (Manual Transmission)
At least more than 10 years of related experience, preferably from the Manufacturing, Energy, Oil/Gas industry
At least 7-10 years of experience in a managerial/leadership capacity.
Adept in Sales and Business Analysis
Willing to do field work, as needed
