What is this role about?
The role is responsible for developing and executing segment-specific marketing strategies to drive growth, strengthen brand positioning, and expand market share for SEAOIL’s LPG business.
In addition, the role involves analyzing consumer behavior and competitive activities, designing and implementing targeted campaigns, and leading initiatives that enhance customer engagement and brand visibility, while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and effective execution of marketing programs.
Furthermore, the role contributes to the company’s performance objectives by driving LPG volume growth, improving brand awareness and equity, and increasing customer acquisition and retention through effective marketing strategies. By aligning campaigns with consumer insights and market opportunities, the role enhances customer engagement, strengthens brand equity, and supports sustainable revenue growth within the LPG segment.
What will YOU do?
Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape developing data-driven marketing strategies and improving customer engagement. Activities include the following:
a. Consumer Insights: Conduct research on LPG consumer behavior, usage patterns, and preferences.
b. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
c. Insight Generation: Translate findings into actionable strategies and recommendations.Develop segment-specific marketing strategies and plans driving LPG volume growth, market share, and brand preference. Activities include the following:
a. Strategy Development: Create marketing strategies aligned with target segments and business objectives.
b. Demand Generation: Identify opportunities to increase LPG adoption and usage.Design and implement marketing programs and campaigns increasing customer engagement from awareness to loyalty. Activities include the following:
a. Campaign Execution: Plan and execute campaigns, events, sponsorships, and CSR initiatives.
b. Customer Journey: Develop programs that drive awareness, acquisition, retention, and loyalty.Manage marketing budgets and performance targets ensuring cost-effective execution and return on investment. Activities include the following:
a. Budget Planning: Establish budgets, sales estimates, and performance targets.
b. Resource Allocation: Optimize spend across campaigns and initiatives to maximize impact.Oversee brand communications and marketing materials ensuring consistency and alignment with brand standards. Activities include the following:
a. Creative Oversight: Supervise development of advertisements, promotional materials, and campaigns.
b. Brand Alignment: Ensure all messaging aligns with SEAOIL’s brand identity and values.Measure and report campaign and program performance evaluating effectiveness and driving continuous improvement. Activities include the following:
a. Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, ROI, and campaign effectiveness.
b. Reporting: Provide regular insights and recommendations based on performance data.Coordinate and collaborate cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external agencies and suppliers ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives. Activities include the following:
a. Internal Coordination: Work closely with marketing, sales, operations, legal, and creative teams.
b. External Partners: Appoint and collaborate with expert agencies and suppliers
c. Alignment: Ensure marketing initiatives support overall business and commercial objectives.Activate and drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and market growth strengthening brand equity and increasing LPG sales. Activities include the following:
a. Brand Building: Lead initiatives that enhance brand visibility and perception.
b. Growth Initiatives: Support programs that increase product sales and expand market share.Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
Graduate of a four-year course, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
Degrees in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Management Engineering) are also an advantage, particularly for candidates with strong commercial and analytical exposure.
Postgraduate studies (e.g., MBA) or certifications in Marketing, Brand Management, or Digital Marketing are an advantage.
At least 5-6 years of related experience
Adept in:
1. Project management and analytical skills
2. CRM knowledge
3. Interpersonal skills
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Proficiency in different productivity tools, such as GSuite, etc.
6. Ability to multi-task and cater to multiple platforms
7. Trade marketing background
8. Strong stakeholder management skills
9. P&L backgroundWilling to do field work, as needed.
