What is this role about?

The Business Development Manager is responsible for originating, developing, and closing institutional accounts within the Transport & Industrial Logistics vertical, in particular Domestic Marine (inter-island shipping, ferries, tankers), Port & Terminal Operators and Integrated Logistics & Heavy Fleet Operators. The role focuses on acquiring recurring fuel and lubricants supply agreements, accelerating revenue.  

What will YOU do?

1. Strategic Account Acquisition:

• Identify and prioritize high-value target accounts.

•  Develop account entry strategies.

• Engage key decision-makers (COO, Fleet Managers, Procurement, Finance).

•  Lead contract negotiations and finalize supply agreements.

1. Commercial Structuring & Revenue Growth:

• Structure competitive and profitable supply terms.

• Develop bundled offerings (fuel + lubricants).

• Convert pilot transactions into long-term agreements.

1. Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy:

• Conduct market mapping and competitor analysis.

• Track regulatory and industry developments.

1. Risk & Credit Management:

• Coordinate with Finance for account evaluation.

• Ensure compliance with credit policies.

1. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.

What will YOU need?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field. MBA is an advantage.

• 8–12 years relevant B2B sales experience.

• Experience in industrial fuel, marine supply, logistics sales or heavy fleet accounts.

• Proven institutional account acquisition experience.

• Willing to travel nationwide
