What is this role about?
The role is responsible for the end-to-end governance of LPG cylinders and related metal assets, including procurement, quality assurance, lifecycle management, refurbishment and retirement. The role ensures that all cylinder and metal inventories meet safety, regulatory, and industry standards while optimizing asset utilization, cost efficiency and supply reliability.
Serving as the focal point between supply chain, operations, maintenance, and compliance teams, the role safeguards asset integrity, prevents losses and safety incidents and ensures adequate cylinder availability to support business growth, operational continuity and customer satisfaction in the LPG market.
The role directly drives operational continuity, asset optimization, and cost control by ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient management of LPG cylinders and metal assets, reducing losses, preventing safety incidents, safeguarding regulatory standing and securing reliable supply to support revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
What will YOU do?
Conduct Daily and periodic inventory counts and visual inspections of LPG cylinders across retail stores, refilling plants, dealer warehouses and strategic partners To ensure full asset accountability, prevent losses, and maintain safe cylinder circulation By implementing standardized inventory controls, validating cylinder conditions, reconciling movements with delivery records and escalating discrepancies for corrective action;
Coordinate With cylinder manufacturers, accredited suppliers, and strategic partners for new purchases, back-jobs, refurbishment and Cylinder Exchange/Swapping Program implementation To secure safe, compliant and cost-effective cylinder supply aligned with business growth requirements By evaluating supplier performance, negotiating service levels, monitoring program execution and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.;
Conduct Month-end and periodic cylinder inventory and asset performance reports To support operational planning, financial accuracy and data-driven decision-making By implementing tracking systems, analyzing cylinder utilization and loss trends and submitting accurate and timely reports to management;
Oversee Cylinder lifecycle management including maintenance, repair, refurbishment, repainting and disposal To ensure operational efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance By enforcing maintenance standards, monitoring refurbishment programs, approving condemnations and ensuring proper disposal in accordance with regulations;
Implement Cylinder tracking and inventory management systems To enhance transparency, traceability and operational efficiency By introducing processes and tools that enable real-time tracking, reporting, and analysis of cylinder assets movements and status;
Ensure Compliance with Philippine LPG regulations, ISO standards, and internal safety protocols To safeguard regulatory standing and protect customers and employee By conducting compliance audits, coordinating with regulatory authorities, facilitating safety training and implementing corrective measures when required;
Manage By conducting regular audits, training staff, and coordinating with regulatory authorities To optimize cost, quality, and team performance By negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, resolving supply issues, and coaching team members;
Monitor Key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cylinder availability, damage/loss, supplier compliance, and operational metrics To drive continuous improvement and operational excellence By analyzing data, identifying gaps, and implementing corrective measures as needed;
Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
Graduate of a four-year course relating to Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or and Engineering courses, and from reputable universities.
LPG Serviceman License
At least 5-6 years of related experience, preferably from the Energy, Oil/Gas industry.
At least 2-3 years of experience in a managerial/leadership capacity.
Adept in Project Management, Engineering.
Willing to do field work, as needed, Willing to travel domestically for deployment and other assignments.
