What is this role about?
The role is responsible for managing the team and the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes of the company.
The proper control and management of accounts payable and receivable will contribute to a better company performance.
What will YOU do?
- Audit Documents and Information - Review and verify documents to ensure the accuracy and validity of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions. Ensure timely processing of approvals in accordance with the company’s approval matrix, policies, standards, and lead times.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable Team - Supervise and monitor the daily activities and performance of the AP and AR team. Ensure that team deliverables and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Ensure Compliance with Processes, Policies, and Controls - Oversee the implementation and adherence of AP and AR systems and processes to company policies, internal controls, and timelines. Approve transactions based on established standards and approval protocols.
- Drive Process and Policy Improvements - Identify opportunities to enhance AP and AR processes, policies, and controls. Lead the creation, coordination, and implementation of improvements to increase efficiency and compliance.
- Provide Cross-Departmental Support - Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on AP and AR processes, policies, and documentation. Address inquiries and provide timely assistance to other departments.
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
- Must be a graduate of BS Accountancy or any accounting-related courses
- Certified Public Accountant
- At least 10 years of experience in handling AP and AR teams
- Willing to extend work hours even on holiday and weekends
