What is this role about?
The Technical Service Engineer (TSE) provides technical and engineering support for SEAOIL lubricants and fuels across various sales channels and customers nationwide. The role is responsible for product application, technical evaluation, field technical support, troubleshooting, and development of lubricant and fuel solutions based on equipment requirements, OEM specifications, operating conditions, and customer needs.
What will YOU do?
Provide technical product recommendations and lubricant cross-referencing/equivalency based on OEM and equipment requirements.
Conduct lubrication surveys, equipment inspections, and application assessments
Support technical troubleshooting, equipment failure investigation, wear analysis, and basic root-cause analysis. Interpret used oil analysis results and provide technical recommendations
Conduct and support lubricant compatibility testing, product trials, and field validation programs
Support lubricant switchover and oil optimization programs
Provide technical support for lubricants and fuels, including fuel quality and stability assessment
Assist in product development, special blends, product specifications, and technical qualification
Conduct technical presentations and basic lubrication training for customers and internal teams
Work closely with Sales in technical selling, customer discussions, and development of technical value propositions
Prepare technical reports, recommendations, and documentation based on field assessments and investigations
Provide technical support to various SEAOIL business units and support functions as required.
Willing to conduct field work and travel anywhere in the Philippines depending on business requirements.
What will YOU need?
PRC Registered (advantage but not required) and Drivers' License (a must, knows how to drive M/T)
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in automotive, lubricants, mechanical maintenance, lube servicing, or related technical fields.
Strong hands-on experience as a lube technician, mechanic, or equipment/vehicle maintenance personnel is highly preferred over purely office-based or administrative experience.
