What is this role about?
This role will be responsible for driving the alignment of departmental performance with financial outcomes, ensuring that strategic initiatives are effectively translated into measurable business impact.
This plays a critical role in supporting company performance objectives by ensuring that each department’s key initiatives are financially linked, aligned with strategic priorities, and contributing to overall profitability and operational efficiency.
What will YOU do?
- Align Departmental KPIs with financial goals Ensure performance efforts are financially relevant Validate linkages during planning and scorecard reviews;
- Facilitate KPI selection and linkage discussions Anchor operational metrics to strategic and financial impact Planning workshops and alignment meetings;
- Monitor Strategic initiatives execution Track contribution to financial outcomes Use impact dashboards and business reviews;
- Support Financial interpretation of KPIs Enable better integration of operational and financial performance Guide leads on interpreting trends and implications;
- Lead Cross-functional performance calibration Promote alignment and shared accountability Facilitate discussions with Finance/Accounting and Business Unit heads;
- Analyze Financial implications of KPI results Identify levers to improve profitability or cost efficiency Conduct variance and trend analysis;
- Report Impact summaries to Management Provide visibility on how KPIs drive financial results Create reports linking departmental performance to financials;
- Improve Financial relevance of KPI frameworks Strengthen strategic performance monitoring Refine templates, processes, and evaluation criteria;
- Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
What will YOU need?
- Graduate of Accountancy, or any business or financial management related courses, Engineering (Management/Industrial/Chemical/Materials/Electronics and Communications/Computer)
- Critical Expertise/Skills: 1) Performance to Financial linkage Modeling; 2) Business Intelligence Tools and MS Excel; 3) Data synthesis and Insight Generation; 4) Executive Reporting; and 5) Stakeholder Management
- Required Professional Experience: 1) Performance Management (KPI design, business analytics roles); 2) Financial Analysis; 3) Business Partnering (Proven ability to work with various departments); 4) Project or Program Management (Hands-on experience in leading initiatives or performance improvement programs across multiple teams); and 5) Change Management (Experience driving adoption of new processes, performance systems, or financial linkage frameworks)
