What is this role about?
The CME Supply Operations Supervisor oversees the end-to-end procurement and supply chain strategy for feedstocks, chemicals, and biomass to ensure continuous and cost-efficient operation of the CME plant. This includes supplier management, contract negotiation, supply planning, inventory optimization, and by-product sales. The role is strategic in nature, ensuring that operational inputs are secured at the lowest possible cost without compromising quality or delivery reliability.

What will YOU do?

• Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies for feedstocks, chemicals, and biomass to ensure uninterrupted plant operations

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; conduct annual supplier evaluations and performance reviews

• Negotiate supplier contracts including rates, terms, and conditions to ensure optimal landed cost and supply continuity

• Monitor global market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and price forecast to inform procurement decisions and supplier negotiations

• Generate and regularly update a rolling monthly supply plan in coordination with plant operations to align supply with production needs

• Review inventory levels daily and ensure optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or excess that affect operational costs

• Oversee reconciliation of supplier delivery records, POs, and payment requests to ensure accurate financial and operational reporting

• Manage strategically the sale of by-products like glycerol to generate additional revenue and ensure inventory turnover

• Lead cross-functional coordination with Finance, Quality Control, and Operations to resolve supply, payment, and quality issues

• Improve continuously supply chain processes and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks to supply continuity

What will YOU need?

• At least 3 years experience in supply chain - with at least 1 year of supervisory experience

• Willing to do field work and travel domestically 

• Must be willing to be assigned in CME Plant, Irasan, Roxas, Zamboanga Del Norte
