What is this role about?
The role will play a crucial role in optimizing pricing strategies by gathering, analyzing, and acting on real-time data from retail operations. The role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strong business acumen, and field-based operational experience. This position bridges data-driven pricing strategies with on-ground execution to maximize profitability, enhance customer satisfaction, and maintain competitive positioning in the market.

What will YOU do?

• Collaborate with the Retail Pricing Manager to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies tailored to regional market dynamics
• Monitor pricing execution in retail stores to ensure alignment with approved strategies
• Conduct field visits to gather insights on competitor pricing, customer preferences, and local market trends
• Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing campaigns and promotions to ensure optimal pricing for the best volume by collecting and analyzing sales data from retail outlets
• Identify pricing anomalies or opportunities and recommend actionable adjustments
• Collaborate with retail managers to align on pricing strategies and address any on-ground challenges in implementation
• Train retail staff on pricing tools, strategies, and compliance standards
• Identify inefficiencies in pricing execution and propose process enhancements
• Support the development and rollout of digital tools or dashboards for more efficient pricing management
• Ensure adherence to corporate pricing policies and guidelines in retail stores
• Audit field-based pricing to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards

What will YOU need?

• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, retail operations, sales analytics, or a related field
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams in a field-based or retail environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field - Master’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related disciplines is a plus
• Willing to do fieldwork as needed and travel domestically for deployment and other assignments
