What is this role about?
This role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upgrading of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems and equipment across depots and terminals. It involves conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning machines, ensuring system compatibility and safety through testing, and managing inventory. The role also requires preparing detailed reports and coordinating with both in-house teams and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.

What will YOU do?

• Develop and propose plans for the upgrading of electrical and electromechanical equipment in depots and terminals to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and reliability.
• Monitor and inspect electrical and electromechanical work/projects at depots and terminals, overseeing both contractor and in-house teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality specifications, and project timelines.
• Prepare and submit detailed monitoring sheets and accomplishment reports for assigned projects, ensuring accurate tracking of progress, milestones, and any issues that may arise.
• Update regularly and maintain the inventory of depot/terminal equipment to ensure accurate records and timely identification of any equipment needs or discrepancies.
• Conduct routine check-ups and inspections of all mechanical rotating equipment and their connections, ensuring optimal performance and identifying potential issues, or as required by operational needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective mechanical tools, equipment, and machines, ensuring minimal downtime and restoring functionality in a timely manner.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to justify the replacement of parts or entire equipment when deemed beyond repair, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to maintenance protocols.
• Maintain and repair malfunctioning machines and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.), diagnosing issues and recommending appropriate corrective actions to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
• Test electrical systems and circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters, ensuring system compatibility, functionality, and safety standards are met.
• Maintain generator sets and operate them as needed, ensuring optimal performance and reliability during operation.

What will YOU need?

• Graduate of bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a registered electrical engineer
• With at least 2-3 years experience in related role and field
• Must be willing to be assigned in Mabini, Batangas
