What is this role about?
The LPG Plant Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. This includes overseeing the maintenance of critical machinery such as filling machines, compressors, pumps, valves, and storage tanks. The maintenance also collaborates with other teams to schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, maintains detailed service logs, assists in equipment installation, and ensures all activities comply with safety and regulatory standards. The role plays a key part in minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining smooth, uninterrupted production operations.

What will YOU do? 

• Conduct regular maintenance on critical equipment such as filling machines, compressors, pumps, valves, pressure regulators, and storage tanks
• Identify and address mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing faulty equipment in a timely manner.
• Perform periodic inspections to identify potential failures, wear, or damage in equipment, and take proactive measures to correct issues before they lead to system failures
• Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and adjusted to meet operational specifications and maintain accuracy in performance
• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize production disruptions and maintain efficient operations.
• Ensure to keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including equipment serviced, parts replaced, issues encountered, and corrective actions taken to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
• Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring that all systems are fully operational and meet quality standards before production use.
• Ensure to follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements when performing maintenance tasks 
• Monitor and maintain the proper functioning of essential utilities such as compressed air, water, and electricity to avoid disruptions in plant operations.

What will YOU need?

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field 
• Knowledge of LPG safety standards and filling protocols
• Ability to operate filling equipment and perform basic troubleshooting
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Physical ability to handle and lift heavy LPG cylinders.
• Comfortable with mechanical work and exposure to loud noise and potential hazards
• Willing to be assigned in General Santos City
