What is this role about?
This role will support the supply chain manager in coordinating and optimizing all aspects of the lubricants supply chain, including procurement, production, inventory management, and logistics. This role will also help ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
What will YOU do?
- Recommend and oversee supply planning strategies involving procurement of base oils, additives, packaging and finished goods for the Lubricants Business
- Negotiate rates, terms & conditions and manage SLA's in contracts with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply at the best landed cost
- Review and update supply chain policies, standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to create strategic plans for improvement and to support business growth
- Ensure optimized warehouse utilization by overseeing on-time leakers resolution and replacement
- Effectively manage relationships with strategic partners to enable sound partnership arrangements
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other department
- Provide regular coaching and mentoring to Supply Officers and Supervisor
What will YOU need?
- At least 7 years of related experience, preferably with people management experience as well
- Bachelor's Degree holder in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or any related course; MBA is an advantage
- Willing to do fieldwork as needed
- Willing to extend working hours and work on holidays and/or weekends as needed
- Willing to travel domestically for deployments and/or assignments
