What is this role about?
The Tax Compliance Officer is in charge of managing the company's compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Board of Investment. The Tax Compliance Officer will also assist in overseeing assessments and other projects assigned to the department.

What will YOU do?

• Handle all tax assessments, including computations and reports, for the company to ensure that all reportorial requirements are met and all tax assessments are being attended
• Prepare tax reports, file tax returns, and endorse payments to Accounting to ensure that all reportorial requirements are being submitted
• Manage possible improvements in tax processes
• Ensure that the company is in compliance with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Board of Investment (BOI) standards through timely payments
• Ensure that all assigned special projects to the department are being met
• Conduct meetings with other departments to discuss terms of projects and corporate objectives to ensure internal alignment and understanding of BIR's and BOI's compliance requirements

What will YOU need?

• Bachelor's degree holder in Accountancy, Finance, or other related course
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Must have knowledge in accounting systems and terms
  
• Must be knowledgable in using MS Office and/or Google Suite applications
• Must be willing to extend working hours, holidays, or weekends, as needed
